The 13th EAS annual conference will take place from 15th -17th of Septmber 2016 at polar circle in the marvelous city of Rovaniemi and the venue is planed to be the Santasport institute, http://santasport.fi/en

Prof. Dr. Natalia Stambulova will give the opening keynote followed by Agata Dziarnowska, policy officer of EU Sport Unit, who will inform the participants about actual EU Strategies and programs concerning project cooperation and “dual career” as a topic in EU sport policy. Keynotes will be followed by different presentations about dual career systems (best practice) and workshops focussing the topic “Dual career on different education levels”
Second day will be opened by Mr. Simo Tarvonen (Finnish Olympic Committee,Director, Sports Academy Program) who will give a presentation about the Dual career system in Finland titled: “challenges and good practices in athletes path” followed by EU project presentations and the EAS General Assembly including the Bengt Nybelius Award.
