The EU Sport Forum is organised by the Commission in order to provide a platform for discussion and consultation with leading representatives from European and International sport federations, European and national sport umbrella organisations (leagues, clubs, athletes, the sport for all and leisure/fitness sector), as well as national Olympic committees, national sport umbrella organisations, representatives of the sport industry, and leaders of projects selected under the 2012 and 2013 Preparatory Actions in the field of sport. From 11th to 12th September, 2014 the University of Rome Foro Italico hosted the 11th annual Conference and the General Assembly of the EAS network.
