INSEP organised an Employment Forum dedicated to High Level Athletes, abled and disabled and professional players On December 3rd, 2012. Forty important companies attended the Forum (IBM, Nestle, Ikea, Carrefour, etc. and the French Police and Army…), and about 1,000 athletes came to meet these companies. Ten days after the event, the feedback is that about ten athletes have already obtained a job interview , others have obtained a long-term training period (6 months) with some companies.

Apart from the meetings with the companies, some workshops (company creation, orientation and guidance, career management, new technologies to find a job) were also organised, they were highly appreciated by the high level athletes. It was a very successful event, therefore we are already preparing the next edition in two years.

The main organiser of the event at INSEP was Ms. Veronique Leseur and her team, who is also the Board Member of EAS. Such event is an excellent best practice of Dual Career approach showing the endeavours of INSEP.
