Program for the Post Conference Day launched:

On Thursday, 14th September 2017 the “Dual Career Workshop” will take place at Ceres Park – 8000 Aarhus C.  The workshop will be organized in cooperation of EAS, ESAA and Elitegymnasier.dk.

Under the headline “How to develop a Dual Career Mindset in Youth Sport – Different approaches for Athletes, Coaches, Parents, Educators and Sports Clubs”, participants will discuss Dual Career Strategies in Youth Sport – with specific focus on different roles.

PROGRAM post-conference-day:

• 8.15: (optional) Best Practice

Guided tour to training sessions at “the Aarhus model for Dual Career” Short presentation by different coaches.

• 9:30 Networking time:
  Conference Registration, coffee/tea and refreshments
• 10:00 PRESENTATIONS:

1. Introduction and brief presentation:”The Aarhus Model for Dual Career”” (15 min)
2. How to develop a DUAL CAREER MINDSET – Presentation by sport psychologist Jakob Freil (30 min)
3. How to make important decisions on sports and education – presentation by local high performance Dual Career student and Dual Career Parent (30 min) Dual Career Strategies in professional Sports Clubs. (15 min)
4. Dialogue in small groups focusing on ”Cultural Diversities” in developing a Dual Career Mindset. (60 min)
5. Feedback and feed forward in plenum. (30 min)

• 13:00: Lunch and Networking
• 14:00: Concluding Remarks – and discussion on Dual Career strategies for the future.
• 14.30 Time for reflection – spend an afternoon in The European Cultural Capital 2017 – Aarhus.

The Post-Conference-Day is a part of Sport- Summit 2017, and participation is included in Sport Summit fee. Fee for non-Sport Summit participants DKK. 500,- ( 65 euro )
