June 8-11, 2023 – Parma (Italy)

We are pleased to invite you at the 2^nd edition of the “International Symposium on Physical Activity and Individuals with Visual Impairments or Deafblindness”, which will be held on June 8-11, 2023, in Parma (Italy).

The conference will deliberate on several issues related to adapted physical activities in children and youths with visual impairments or deafblindness. International experts will share their knowledge and expertise with research sessions, for the most recent scientific based evidence, and with practical sessions, for the demonstration of physical activities and practice. Moreover, round tables with Paralympic athletes and digital technology companies will be delivered to share individual experiences and best practices. In particular, the round table “Paralympic Athletes and Dual Career” will emphasize issues that are considered central for the Dual Career network.

We are intended to disseminate current knowledge and activities and to sensibilize academic and local community on the critical issue of physical activity and social inclusion.
